This leather had a life before becoming your pouch.
Each piece is made from recovered leather furniture samples diverted from landfills in Puerto Rico, given a new purpose through thoughtful design and craftsmanship. What was once a sample created for the furniture industry is carefully collected, selected, designed, and transformed into a functional accessory here in Puerto Rico. Ergo, upcycled leather.
Because the materials are recovered rather than produced specifically for this collection, no two pouches are exactly alike. Variations in color, texture, grain, and markings are part of the material’s history—and what makes each piece one of a kind.
From material recovery to design and manufacturing, the process takes place in Puerto Rico.

Cada pieza está hecha de leather swatches para muebles, que fueron recuperadas y desviadas de los vertederos de Puerto Rico, ahora con un nuevo propósito gracias al diseño y la manufactura local. Lo que una vez fue una muestra para la industria de muebles es cuidadosamente recogido, seleccionado, diseñado y transformado en un accesorio funcional aquí mismo, en Puerto Rico.** Osea. upcycled leather.**
Al trabajar con materiales recuperados y no producidos o comprados, no hay dos pouches exactamente iguales. Las variaciones en color, textura, grain y markings son parte de la historia de cada material—and that’s what makes every piece one of a kind.
